Filing of nominations gathers momentum all over India
Mumbai/ Lucknow, Apr 10 (ANI): A number of politicians representing various political parties filed nomination papers for the upcoming general elections.
Sanjay Nirupam, a nominee of the Congress party filed his nomination papers from North Mumbai Constituency in Mumbai.
Nirupam, would be battling it out with Ram Naik, a candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
After filing his nomination papers, Nirupam said that he would focus on defeating the BJP and the Shiv Sena.
"At present, my only challenge is to defeat the BJP and the Shiv Sena," Nirupam said outside the district collector's office.
In Lucknow, Congress candidate Rita Bahuguna Joshi filed her nomination papers. (ANI)
