After Chidambaram, Naveen Jindal faces 'shoe-cide'
Kurukshetra, Apr 10: It seems 'shoe throwing' is gaining momentum as a medium of protest in India. After Union Home Minister P Chidambaram, its another Congress man Naveen Jindal who suffered a 'shoe-cide'.
Jindal was addressing an election rally in his constituency in Kurukshetra of Haryana when an school teacher in the audience hurled a shoe at him. The motive for throwing shoe is still unclear.
The incident comes, just two days before a Sikh journalist Jarnail Singh threw a shoe on Chidambaram for not answering his question regarding 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
Jindal, a sitting MP of Congress party from Kurukshetra constituency is seeking his second term.
