UPA has fulfilled all promises: Rahul Gandhi
Chandauli (Uttar Pradesh), Apr 9 (ANI): Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi on Thursday asked people to vote for the Congress as all promises made by the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) have been fulfilled.
"The UPA Government has fulfilled all its promises," Rahul Gandhi said while addressing an election rally here.
Gandhi further said the UPA Government would carry on with its various developmental schemes in the future.
"If voted to power, I would like to promise you that the UPA Government will carry on with its various developmental schemes in the future as well," he added.
Gandhi criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP) for not having done much for the development of the State.
"The BJP, BSP and the SP have done nothing for the development of the state in the past 20 years," he added.
He also accused Mayawati for failing to utilise the funds provided by the Central Government.
"The centre has released a lot of money for various developmental projects but it got stuck in Lucknow and never reached the needy," he added. (ANI)
