Peaches Geldof's club drama has her quizzed by cops

London, Apr 9 (ANI): British socialite Peaches Geldof's lewd behavior in a club reportedly forced cops to question her.

Apparently Geldof's fun night got interrupted when she decided to throw her shoe in the crowd just to have a laugh.

Her shoe sadly hit a woman, whose boyfriend confronted Geldof.

"Peaches was letting her hair down and having a giggle when she thought it would be hilarious to send her shoe flying through the crowd .But her little game backfired when it hit a woman," the Mirror quoted an onlooker as saying.

"Her boyfriend was not one to let things lie and came over. And that's when things got rowdy. They threatened to chuck the man out," we're told. "Peaches was drenched and ran to the ladies to get cleaned up," the onlooker added.

It was then the club bouncers intervened to solve the issue, while a drenched Geldof couldn't be clamed down and eventually the police had to be called.

When the police arrived, Geldof was bent upon getting the man arrested.

However, as there was no evidence, the man left the club with a wide smile, while Geldof was livid.

"When they arrived, Peaches tried to get them to arrest the man for assault. However, the allegation could not be substantiated so no further action will be taken," the onlooker said.

A spokesman for Scotland Yard said: "Officers were summoned to a club in St Martin's Lane at about 2.45am and spoke to a number of people concerning an allegation of assault. (ANI)
