Joan Rivers up next to be grilled on 'Comedy Central Roast'

Washington, Apr 9 (ANI): Joan Rivers will be the next comic to go through the hit 'Comedy Central Roast' session.

Comedy Central is planning to comically assault Rivers during a July 26 taping on the Warner lot in Burbank.

Rivers' roast follows the 'Comedy Central Roast' special featuring Larry the Cable guy that yielded 4.1 million viewers upon its premiere.

The line-up of celebrities who will be roasting the 75-year-old comic actress has not been announced as yet, reports Variety magazine.

Joel Gallen, who's produced a number of roast specials for Comedy Central in the past, is the executive producer of Rivers special.

Rivers' 'Comedy Central Roast' will be aired on August 9. (ANI)
