Remastered Beatles' tracks to release in September
London, Apr 8 (ANI): Beatles' record label is set to recreate the magic of the legendary rock band with a digitally remastered version of their albums.
Engineers at Abbey Road Studios, northwest London have re-recorded the songs using a mixture of state-of-the-art recording technology and 1960s musical equipment to create "highest fidelity the catalogue has seen since its original release".
EMI Music and Apple Corps will re-release all 12 Beatles studio albums on CD in September alongside the launch of the computer game The Beatles: Rock Band, in which fans will be able to play the group's music themselves.
"The albums have been remastered by a dedicated team of engineers at EMI's Abbey Road Studios over a four year period utilising state-of-the-art recording technology alongside vintage studio equipment, carefully maintaining the authenticity and integrity of the original analog recordings," Times Online quoted EMI and Apple as saying.
