Poll vehicle for campaigning designed on party symbols

Hyderabad, Apr 8 (ANI): With the election fever gripping and political parties trying hard to woo voters, an indigenous car maker has gone a step ahead and designed an election vehicle resembling the symbol of the Congress party.

Designed like a hand, the vehicle will be used by the Congress for campaigning in Hyderabad.

Weighing 225 kilograms, it is fitted with a 125 cc engine and can cover a distance of 40 to 45 kilometers easily.

A brainchild of K. Sudhakar, the vehicle has been made in ten days.

"If you take it on the road, it's like just a hand on the road. I just took a trial on the road, it's a traffic jam as lot of people stood to see this wonderful creation," saidudhakar.

Sudhakar feels the vehicle will provide a different kind of publicity for the Congress party due to its unique shape and design.

"I made this car in a record time of ten days. Just ten days, 24 hours, we worked on this car. I'm sure people will like this. It is going to be a different kind of publicity for the political party," he said.

Poll campaigns for forthcoming elections have gone hi-tech with video games, SMS's, election portals, songs and even music videos replacing the brochures and posters prevalent in past years. By Narendra (ANI)
