Shabana Azmi in Gurinder Chadha's 'It's a Wonderful Afterlife'

Washington, Apr 7 (ANI): British-Asian director Gurinder Chadha has roped in Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi for her new film "It's a Wonderful Afterlife."

The film is about an Indian mother who takes her obsession with marriage to extreme lengths, reports Variety

The 'Bend It Like Beckham' director has also signed 'Happy-Go-Lucky' actress Sally Hawkins, Zoe Wanamaker, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Jimi Mistry and Sanjeev Bhaskar for the film.

The film has gone on floors from March 28. (ANI)
