Palins slam Levi Johnston for revealing family secrets on Tyra Banks Show

New York, April 6 (ANI): A rep for Palin family has slammed Levi Johnston - the 18-year-old father of Bristol Palin's newborn son - for revealing all about the couple's sex life on the Tyra Banks Show.

The rep released a statement blasting Johnston, 18, for blabbing about the private life he shared with his ex-fiance Bristol.

"It is unfortunate that Levi finds it more appealing to exploit his previous relationship with Bristol than to contribute to the well-being of the child," the New York Daily News quoted the rep, as stating.

In the exclusive interview with Banks, Johnston said that Sarah Palin knew about the couple's sexual life before Bristol she became pregnant.

Johnston said: "I'm pretty sure she probably knew. Moms are pretty smart."

He also said his relationship with Bristol is on icy ground.

"Some days we can have regular conversations without fighting. Most of the times, I don't know what's wrong with her. She's in a pretty bad mood, she's short, she doesn't want me around I don't think," Johnston said.

The rep also said that the high school dropout is just trying to extend his 15 minutes of fame at Bristol's expense.

"We're disappointed that Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration and even distortion of their relationship," said the statement.

In the interview, Johnston also revealed that his relationship with Bristol turned sour after the birth of their son, Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, in December. (ANI)
