Advani denies any difference with Janata Dal (United) in Bihar
New Delhi, Apr 6 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Lal Krishna Advani downplayed the possibility of Janata Dal (United) parting ways with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) after the general polls.
Advani reacted to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's comment in an interview with a news channel that his party had kept the options open and it was only after the elections that he would decide whom he would form an alliance with.
"Unless Nitish says something of that kind to me, I am not going to comment on what you say," said Advani.
Advani added that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was in constant touch with Janata Dal (United). He also said that there was no such problem with Janata Dal (United) in Bihar, while addressing a news conference here on the party's 29th anniversary.
"In respect to Bihar, Arun Jaitley has been in constant touch with Nitish and there is no problem," said Advani. (ANI)
