Second e-mail threat to Taj Hotel

Mumbai, Apr 3: Hotel Taj Mahal Palace is in danger again. Just days after receiving a threat e-mail from Pakistan, another mail threatening Hotel Taj and Tower was received on Mar 31. The email said that it would carry out an explosion.

According to police officials: The e-mail was received by Hotel Taj in Mumbai on its official e-mail ID and has been traced to Pak".

"The e-mail ID from which the mail was sent seemed to have been created recently," police officials said.

Since 26/11 blasts, hotel received two email threats. The first threat was recieved by the Chennai unit of Taj Hotel.

One wing of the hotel, the Heritage Taj Palace, is under renovation following the terror strikes while the other wing is operational.

High security has been put on at the hotel after it received its first threat mail.
