Britain to support Nepal on Army integration
Kathmandu, Apr 2: Nepal has been promised support from the British government with respect to any decisions it takes concerning army integration issues.
This was one of the decisions taken between Mike Foster, the visiting British Minister for International Development and Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal of the Nepal's ruling coalition (Unified-Marxist-Leninist Communist Party) in the discussions held on Wednesday. This decision is in the interest of peace process and developmental activities of the country, said Xinhua quoting Khanal. Foster too concurred when it came to the significance this decision will have on the peace process, along with new Constitution writing, and developmental issues
