Carlos Santana braces himself for Las Vegas residency
Washington, Apr 2 (ANI): Legendary guitarist Carlos Santana is the latest star to dazzle Las Vegas with his tunes, for he has signed a new residency deal at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in the city.
The rocker and his band are expected to play at the venue till 2010.
Santana's residency will start after Sir Paul McCartney officially opens revamped Hard Rock theatre the Joint on April 19.
As part of his new deal with entertainment giant AEG Live, the 'Maria Maria' hit maker will be performing three shows a week.
AEG Live also produced Celine Dion's successful 'A New Day' run in Sin City as well as subsequent residencies with Sir Elton John, Cher and Bette Midler.
While the tickets for Santana's first run of shows are now up for grabs, the Mexican musician can't wait to get started.
