Sacha Baron Cohen ropes in Bono, Chris Martin for mock single on Band Aid
London, April 1 (ANI): Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen has reportedly collaborated with Bono and Chris Martin for a mock single on charity supergroup Band Aid.
The Borat star was said to have chosen the singers to record the Dove of Peace track for his latest film 'Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male'.
"Chris Martin was in stitches throughout the recording and only just managed to get his lines out," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.
Few lines in the song allegedly read: "For people of Africa who live in hell/ They will never wear Chanel."
Sting and The Village People are also expected to lend their vocals and Madonna and Sir Elton John may also join in.
The source added: "Madonna worked with him for her cover of American Pie and he's approached her to get involved. It'll be quite a coup if he does.
"If the film's a success, there is every chance the track will be released as a single." (ANI)
