Benji Madden, Will I. AM, Samantha Ronson selling MP3 players for charity
London, Apr 1 (ANI): Guitarist Benji Madden, rapper Will I. AM and DJ Samantha Ronson are doing their own bit for a fundraising charity, by compiling their own playlist to be auctioned.
The musicians have filled their own MP3 players with their own favorite songs, which will be auctioned to raise funds for an organization called Music Rising, whose objective is to replace the instruments lost or destroyed in the Hurricane Katrina-ravaged Gulf Coast region, reports the Daily Star.
The latest iPods, which have been signed by the trio, are currently being auctioned on the Tonic.com website.
While Will.I.AM's favorite songs include Public Enemy's Fight the Power, A Tribe Called Quest's Bonita Apple Bum and Frank Sinatra's The Girl From Ipanema, Madden's favorites are Blink 182's Stay Together for the Kids, Weezer's Butterfly, and Let's Ride by rapper The Game.
Ronson's playlist includes Lily Allen's The Fear, Bring on the Lucie by John Lennon and Britney Spears' new single Circus. (ANI)
