Islamabad, Mar 31: Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik who was in all praise for his country's security forces for controlling the terror situation in just four hours, took a dig at India and said India took 4 days to bring 26/11 attacks under control.
Lauding the Pak forces, Malik said: "Pakistan took just four hours to handle the Lahore attack, while India took four days to bring the Mumbai Terror Attacks under control".
Heavily armed gunmen on Monday, Mar 30 stormed a police academy near Lahore killing at least 27 policemen. The siege went on four eight hours with four terrorists being shot dead and six captured alive by security forces.
Malik said, "The incident happened at around 7:30 am and within 15 minutes the information was given to me. I spoke to the rangers and within half an hour the rangers were there. The elite force had already reached. The CCPO and DIG of Lahore was present there and the IG was all-around."
Taking a dig at India Malik added, "The operation ended within four hours as compared to such operation in India that took three days."
