Sharad Yadav attacks Lalu on Advani remark
Patna, Mar 29 (ANI): Janata Dal- United (JD-U) President Sharad Yadav on Sunday ridiculed the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad for his reported statement that he would take retirement from politics if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Lal Krishna Advani became the Prime Minister.
"The Railway Minister is in the habit of swearing for a thing that destiny wills otherwise. His swearing that he will retire from electoral politics if Advani becomes the prime minister is nothing but ridiculous," Yadav told reporters in a press conference here.
On March 28, Prasad had reportedly said that he would take retirement from politics and would never fight any election again if Advani became the prime minister. (ANI)
