Mel B has not talked to mum and sister for 5 months

London, Mar 29 (ANI): Former Spice Girl Mel B's mother and sister have claimed that the singer has not talked to them since five months, blaming her hubby Stephen Belafonte for the feud.

Mel B's mother Andrea and sister Danielle have claimed that the pop star, popular as Scary Spice, has cut all ties with them because she's too involved with her husband and kids.

"She is wrapped up in her own little world," the News of the World quoted them as saying.

Former Emmerdale actress Danielle said: "Mel hasn't spoken to her own mother in months! She has a husband now so she just doesn't find the time. He doesn't help. To be honest, I don't think he's a very nice person."

When asked whether Belafonte was a domineering character, Danielle said: "Yeah. It doesn't help Mel's situation."

Mel and Stephen, both 33, married in June 2007 and renewed their wedding vows in Egypt during a four-day celebration last year.

And since then, Stephen has been at the centre of many cheating rumours.

But the mother-sister duo is angry over the silent treatment.

Andrea and Danielle are also devastated at losing contact with Mel's kids Phoenix Chi, 10, and year-old Angel Iris.

"It's hard not hearing from her. But I'm getting used to it now," admitted Danielle. (ANI)
