Four killed in Orissa explosion

Bhubaneswar, Mar 29 (ANI): At least four people were killed and 13 others injured in an explosion at a house in Purushottampur, 50 km from Orissa's Berhampur, early Sunday.

According to police official, the incident took place at around 2:00m a.m. when people were allegedly making bombs near the site of local 'danda dance' festival.

Soon after the bomb under preparation went off accidentally, other finished bombs and explosives caught fire triggering a massive explosion, the sources added.

Some nearby building were also affected due to an explosion.

The injured have been undergoing treatment at MKCG Medical College Hospital where the condition of six of them was stated to be critical.

Four persons were arrested in connection with the incident. (ANI)
