TummyTub bath designed to create womb-like environment for babies
Melbourne, Mar 27 (ANI): Dutch researchers have invented a TummyTub to give babies the feeling that they are in the womb, while they can simultaneously view their surroundings.
The tubs or buckets have gotten the approval of doctors, midwives, health visitors, and maternity hospitals across Europe, as they make bath time enjoyable.
"It helps to ease the transition from the comfort of the mothers' womb," News.com.au quoted the makers as saying.
"It makes bath time enjoyable from birth; its special, original design ensures that babies adopt and relax in the familiar and natural foetal position.
"Baby can be immersed up to shoulder level safely and remains warmer for longer," they added.
The TummyTub is recommended for children up to three years old. (ANI)
