Nano impact minimal, but no price cut: Maruti

New Delhi, Mar 26: Maruti Suzuki, one of India'a largest car maker said that 'Tata Nano' might create a minimal impact on the sales of its entry level small car Maruti 800. But the company ruled out slashing prices. RC Bhargava, Maruti Suzuki India Chairman said, "It (Nano) may have a marginal impact on the Maruti 800 segment, but we don't have any plan to cut its price or enter Nano segment."

"Nano is in the different segment and we are in a different segment," he added. He was speaking to mediapersons on the sidelines of CII annual session. He said that the launch of Nano will help in expanding market.
