Ricky Gervais to host show with 'muppet' Elmo

London, Mar 23 (ANI): British comedian Ricky Gervais is all set to develop a new show with Elmo, a muppet from Sesame Street.

Gervais, 47, had "hit if off" with the furry red monster when a 40th anniversary special of the US kids' show was being filmed.

The actor had asked Elmo "adult" questions in an out-take, which has become an Internet hit, and he is now working on new ideas to host a show with the orange nosed muppet.

"Ricky really hit it off with Elmo. The plan is at an early stage but would see them hosting their own show," the Sun quoted an insider as saying. (ANI)
