Naveen Chawla to arrive in Guwahati today

Guwahati, Mar 23 (ANI): Election Commissioner Naveen Chawla will arrive here on a two-day visit today to review poll preparedness for the coming Lok Sabha polls.

Chawla will be accompanied by two Deputy Election Commissioners Dr Alok Shukla and J P Prakash.

During his visit, Chawla will hold discussion with representatives of various political parties and will take stock of arrangements for the upcoming elections. He will also discuss the law and order situation.

Before leaving for Shillong this evening, he will also interact with the district deputy commissioners and senior police officials of the State. (ANI)
