Prahlad Patel rejoins BJP

Bhopal, Mar 21 (ANI): Former Union Minister Prahlad Patel rejoined the Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday.

He joined the BJP with his supporters in presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan at a function held at the state BJP headquarters here.

Patel had earlier parted ways with Bharatiya Janshakti Party leader Uma Bharti after the Gujarat assembly elections but no final decision had been taken.

Patel had been a close associate Bharti. He had resigned from the BJP three years ago to support Bharti. (ANI)
