EC likely to look into Varun Gandhi's reply

New Delhi, Mar 21: The Election Commission will probably be looking into the reply filed by BJP Leader, Varun Gandhi and BJP on Saturday, Mar 21. The full Commission is now in Bhubaneswar to review poll preparations. It may meet after its return on Saturday, Mar 21 and take a view on the issue, EC sources said.

"The Bharatiya Janata Party categorically states that it completely disagrees, disassociates and disapproves the contents of the CD as sent to us," party leader R Ramakrishna said in his single page reply to an EC notice.

Election Commission had filed a criminal case against Varun Gandhi for his anti-Muslim remarks in an election rally in Pilibhit.
