UP officials hand over copy of CD to Varun

New Delhi, Mar 20: Uttar Pradesh officials accompanied by Delhi Police visited the residence of BJP Lok Sabha candidate Varun Gandhi and handed over a copy of the the CD containing his hate speech in Pilibhit. The officials handed over the CD at the residence of his mother and former Union Minister Maneka Gandhi where Varun Gandhi stays.

The UP officials told reporters that they were on poll duty, but declined to give any details. The Police team did not enter the residential premises.

Sources in the UP police said the onus of challenging the contents of the CD lay on Varun.
