Mischa Barton to gain weight for new role

London, Mar 19 (ANI): Hollywood actress Mischa Barton will be gaining weight for the role of a supermodel in a forthcoming show.

According to reports, Barton was firmly told by the show bosses that she would get to play the role in the show only if she got rid of her skinny frame.

"The producers are very mindful that their target audience is teenage girls so it's important to not send out the wrong message, " the Daily Express quoted a source as saying.

"Mischa has the part on condition she does not lose weight. They want her to put some weight on if she can," Barton added.

Baron, who had recently gained weight, was spotted looking skinnier lately. (ANI)
