Father rapes daughter for 9 years to get rich

Mumbai, Mar 19: In a horrific incident, a 60-year-old businessman was arrested on Wednesday, Mar 18 by Mumbai police for allegedly raping his daughter over an extended span of 9 years.

This horrific story of a father turning into a rapist and a sexual fiend was said to be because of his greed for money.

This businessman has been arrested from Mira Road in Mumbai on charges of raping his eldest daughter all because a self-styled tantric told him it would make him rich.

The eldest daughter (21) was only 11 when the ordeal began in 2000. She suffered in silence for nine long years, but she finally mustered courage and blew the lid on the crime after her father turned on her sister, who is 15-years-old. Finally the traumatised girls broke down before their uncle and grandmother.

The mother of the girls has also been arrested as an accomplice to the crime. The case bears a sinister resemblance to that of Josef Fritzl in Austria, who confined his daughter to a cellar in his house for 24 years and repeatedly raped her.
