Britney may thrill London fans even before O2 Arena gigs

London, Mar 19 (ANI): Pop star Britney Spears may thrill her fans in London even before she takes on the stage at London 02 Arena in June 2009, as Radio 1 has asked her to participate in their Big Weekend outdoor event.

The 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' hitmaker will be finishing her ongoing 'Circus' tour on May 2, and the Radio 1 event will take place at Swindon, London, from May 9-10.

It is being anticipated that the entertainer might oblige the Radio 1 event.

"Everyone's got their fingers crossed that Britney will come on board," the Sun quoted an insider as saying.

Meanwhile, N-Dubz and Snow Patrol have already been signed up for the two-day gigs in London. (ANI)
