Pete Doherty continues gig even after lights were put off
London, Mar 18 (ANI): Brit musician Pete Doherty recently showed his stubborn streak by refusing to end a gig even after bosses at the venue turned the lights off.
Doherty, 30, who had been drinking Guinness throughout the show, ignored pleas to get off the stage, and continued to play for 25 minutes beyond the 11pm curfew on March 15.
The ex-Libertines singer even lit up in defiance of the smoking ban, and told his fans that he'd forfeit his fee for the fag.
"As we left there was chanting, banging walls and singing," the Sun quoted a concertgoer at Southampton Guildhall, Hampshire, as saying.
"It was like a football match. I've never seen a crowd act like that at a gig," the person added. (ANI)
