Tata Sons pledges additional 1.17cr TCS shares

Mumbai, Mar 16: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), one of the largest software firm said that one of its promoter group company Tata Sons has pledged an additional 1.17 crore shares with lenders for an undisclosed amount.

In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Tata Sons has pledged another 1.17 crore shares, taking a total to over 12.06 crore shares representing 12.33 per cent stake in the company. Shares of the Tata Consultancy Services were trading at Rs 512, up 1.17 per cent on the BSE.
