Final year engg student brutally ragged in Gurgaon

Gurgaon, Mar 16: In a brutal incident, a final year engineering student was beaten by other students in the college in Gurgaon. 22-year-old Nishant Gharsa a fourth year student of Anupama College of Engineering was allegedly beaten up by his batch-mates and juniors on Mar 5. This incident comes to light just days after a 19-year-old Aman Kachroo was brutally beaten to death by his seniors in Kangra of HP.

Nishant who is pursuing Electronics and Communication has suffered serious injuries in the abdomen, chest and particularly private parts. Doctors said that Nishant had internal bleeding and swelling in his private parts when he was brought to hospital.

Reports suggest that since the time he took admission to the college Nishant was tortured. After complaining several times also no action was taken as the key accused Mukul Gupta was a relative of college Chairman. Though police have lodged a complaint against six students including Mukul under Sections 147, 148, 323 and 506 no arrests have been made.
