Will not contest in elections: Digvijay Singh

Bhopal, Mar 16: Digvijay Singh, the Congress party General Secretary on Monday, Mar 16 dismissed the possibility of him contesting the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

"All speculation in the media about my contesting the elections is both baseless and meaningless," said Singh. He said there was no pressure on him to contest the elections.

Prior to the Dec 2003 state assembly polls, Singh had announced that he would not hold any post for 10 years if the Congress lost them.
