Pete Doherty vows to stay single
London, Mar 12 (ANI): Pete Doherty has said that he is happy being single and has vowed to stay away from women.
"I just don't want to inflict myself on any girl," the Sun quoted him, as saying.
He added: "I wouldn't want her to have anything to do with me or the people I know or my life as it is at the moment. They just don't need it, you know?"
Meanwhile, Doherty has revealed that he is desperate to mend his relationship with his estranged father.
The Babyshambles frontman was banned from meeting his dad, who had pledged not to meet him until he had kicked his drug addiction.
The pair had even made peace for a short time in 2007 when the singer was just released from the Priory Clinic but a relapse reversed their situation.
And now, the former lead singer of The Libertines, who is yet to get over the habit, said he was desperate to restore his cracked relationship with his idol. (ANI)
