Pak security forces kill 18 militants in Mohmand
Peshawar, Mar 12 (ANI): Pakistani security forces on Thursday have killed 18 militants in Mohmand Agency bordering Afghanistan, Frontier Corps sources said.
Shelling was carried out in Gorgaray, Shapri and Malaghani Baba areas by Pakistani army helicopter gunships on suspected militant hideouts in the Mohmand region.
"The area was a main militant base and they were carrying out attacks on security forces from there ... now the militants are on the run," a foreign news agency quoted a paramilitary force spokesman, as saying.
Mohmand is in the south of the Bajaur region, which has seen the heaviest fighting in recent months between security forces and militants. (ANI)
