Abuse victims read Rihanna the riot act over 'reconciliation with Brown'
Washington, March 12 (ANI): Rihanna has evoked serious response from famous women who are urging the singer to look back at history before allegedly reconciling with her thrashing beau Chris Brown.
The 'Umbrella' hitmaker was said to have stepped over the alleged beating by Brown that left her with horrific injuries, including a split lip, a bloody nose and bite marks on her hands.
Several women, including Robin Givens, former wife of boxer Mike Tyson, expressed their concern regarding the R and B singer's safety following their reconciliation reports, in addition to celebrity Web site TMZ's Harvey Levin claims that the couple had even recorded a duet together.
"It's hard to sit here, it's very difficult. You have to be careful. You're not 'fighting' with a man. A man is hitting you. You're not 'fighting,"' CBS News quoted Givens as saying on CNN's 'Larry King Live'.
Oprah Winfrey further said on her talk show: "Love doesn't hurt. And if a man hits you once, he WILL hit you again."
Denise Brown, sister of the late Nicole Brown Simpson, slain wife of O.J. Simpson, added: "If they hit you once they'll hit you again, and if they ever threaten to kill you, eventually, one day they will."
Meanwhile, Brown faces assault charges and it is yet to be revealed if Rihanna would testify against him. (ANI)
