Tom Hanks' son to make Tower Records docu

Washington, Mar 10 (ANI): Tom Hanks' son Colin is directing a new documentary about bankrupt music retailer Tower Records.

The company was formed in Hanks' native Sacramento, California back in 1960.

It became a global music institute, before going bust in 2006.

Colin's movie will be about the rise and fall of the record store.

"It's an incredibly sad tale that mirrors what happened to the music industry, because of the Internet, and how people never go to the record store anymore," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying. ANI)
