Brown urges young fans to vote for him at Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award

Washington, Mar 10 (ANI): Chris Brown, who has been charged with two felony accounts for allegedly attacking Rihanna, has urged young fans to vote for him for the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.

Apparently, the rapper urged his fans through his MySpace blog to vote for him for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song for "Kiss Kiss" on the very same day he appeared in front of a California Superior Court facing 2 felony counts for his dreadful crime.

"Hey fans, Vote for Chris on the Kids Choice Awards 2009 link provided below ... Thank you for your support," Fox news quoted Brown, as telling his fans on his blog.

On the other hand, Nickelodeon executive deferred the decision to young voters, who nominated Brown several months ago.

"The kids who vote will ultimately decide who wins in the category," the executive told TMZ.

On the other hand, many people were shocked to witness Brown's audacity of urging fans to vote for him, while he should be humiliated of his dreadful crime against the 'Umbrella' hitmaker.

The president for the New York chapter of the National Association of Women (NOW) Sonia Ossorio, stated that while Nickelodeon may be in a tough position since the viewers nominated Brown months before the incident, the entertainer should hardly be considered eligible.

"He's not worthy of any award. He is in no way a positive role model for young men and women and needs to spend time obtaining professional help," Sonia said. (ANI)
