Sylvester Stallone injures thumb while rehearsing action scene

London, Mar 09 (ANI): Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone recently injured his right hand's thumb, while he was dedicatedly rehearsing for his forthcoming action flick 'The Expendables'.

The 'Rocky' actor, who has signed up Hollywood's toughest men including Jet Li, Mickey Rourke and Jason Statham for his action flick, injured his thumb while performing a dangerous stunt.

"Mr. Stallone injured his hand practicing realistic fighting for his upcoming film The Expendables. The injury was to his thumb (but) the production will be on location in Brazil later this month and then New Orleans," the Daily Express quoted Stallone's spokesman, as saying.

Although Stallone, 62, is tending an injured thumb, he insists the injury will not delay filming. he film revolves around a group of mercenaries, who set out to overthrow a dictator. (ANI)
