Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon looking for a family home in LA

Washington, Mar 7 (ANI): Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon may not be expecting a child yet, but they are already looking for family home in Los Angeles.

After doing a lot of house hunting in California's San Fernando Valley, the couple have now given up the idea, as they're desperate to start a family over the hill in LA.

Carey and Cannon have been looking at schools as well as mansions, as they don't want to raise a child in Carey's native New York.

And though, the duo have already dished out over 200,000 dollars on furniture at Beverly Hills' trendy Kreiss store, they are still looking for a home to put it all in.

"They still don't have a house yet, but they do have an interior designer helping them make their choice and they've ruled out buying a place in the Valley," Contactmusic quoted an insider as saying.

The source added: "I don't believe Mariah is pregnant yet but she and Nick are talking about having children and they want their kids to go to school in Los Angeles."

Although Carey doesn't look pregnant, onlookers have spotted her declining alcohol during a recent business lunch with Cannon and advisors, while her husband sipped beer. (ANI)
