LDF failed to utilize Central government's help: Rahul Gandhi
Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 5 (ANI): Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi on Thursday launched the party's election campaign in Kerala, and said the state's ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) had failed to utilize the central government's developmental help.
"Even though our party doesn't rule the state, the central government has launched a lot of programmes for the state. But the LDF government here has not been able to do anything," Gandhi said while addressing a large gathering on the Shangumukam beach here.
"The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government has given Rs. 00 billion to the state in the last five years," he added.
The Congress leader also raised his finger to the law and order situation in the state.
He also asked the Congress leaders in Kerala to work out for the people who worked in Middle East countries, but now lost their jobs due to the recession. (ANI)
