Sleepless in Seattle to be turned into Broadway musical
London, Mar 04 (ANI): Hollywood 1993 cult hit 'Sleepless in Seattle' will soon be turned into a musical, as it is all set to make its Broadway debut.
The Tom Hanks- and Meg Ryan-starrer flick is being refurbished into a musical, reports the Daily Express.
Jeff Arch, who penned 'Sleepless in Seattle', is working with composer and lyricist Leslie Bricusse to turn it into a song-and-dance production for the New York stage.
The musical will be directed by My Big Fat Greek Wedding filmmaker Joel Zwick, and produced by David Shor, according to the paper Daily Variety.
The musical has been scheduled for a 2010 release. (ANI)
