Sir Richard Branson polled Britain's Most Generous Celeb
London, March 4 (ANI): Sir Richard Branson has been named Britain's most generous public figure in a new poll.
According to the first Volunteering Index, the Virgin boss contributed most time to social causes in the UK.
The 58-year-old billionaire beat the Prince of Wales to the second spot followed by former Test cricketer and captain Sir Ian Botham.
Football ace David Beckham grabbed the fourth spot tailed by the Princess Royal, reports The Scotsman.
Wrapping up the top 10 were Sir Elton John, Sir Cliff Richard, Esther Rantzen, Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Jimmy Savile.
