Sharif says his goals to be achieved in few weeks
Lahore, Mar 2 (ANI): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif has called on the masses to support him in the current situation, and said his party would achieve its goals in a few weeks, but did not elaborate.
Sharif made the comments while addressing a seminar organised at Jamia Naeemia on Sunday.
The PML-N chief charged that Pakistan's policies were being made elsewhere instead of Islamabad, and claimed President Asif Ali Zardari was going about government affairs, like his predecessor, with the "fear of the US foremost in his mind."
He said his disqualification from contesting polls did not matter, "the important thing is to save the country".
Sharif called on every Pakistani citizen to participate in an upcoming lawyers' march to Islamabad. "Support me and I shall support you," the Daily Times quoted him, as saying. (ANI)
