Anna Friel to go topless for world's most notorious female serial killer's role

London, Feb 27 (ANI): Actress Anna Friel is all set to go topless in new film 'Bathory', wherein she plays legendary Countess Elizabeth Bathory, the most notorious female serial killer in history.

The 'Pushing Daisies' star will take up the role of Bathory, who is known as the murderess with the biggest ever body count.

She was accused of torturing and killing hundreds of girls and young women following her husband's death.

Although she reportedly boasts a victim count of 600, she was only convicted on 80 counts.

Anna grabbed the role after 'The Faculty' star Famke Janssen couldn't play the part and dropped out.

It was the script that lured Friel to the role, and she sent the director a letter convincing him to cast her. (ANI)
