Bihar students witness State Assembly proceedings
Patna, Feb 24 (ANI): A group of school children on Tuesday opted to witness the proceedings of State Assembly on the special occasion when the State Governor R. L. Bhata was to address the joint session.
But the enthusiastic students were surprised to watch the elected representatives of the State creating ruckus by shouting and interrupting several times in the middle of Governor Bhatia's address.
"We heard that only disciplined people used to be here in the legislative assembly but today, after watching the behaviour of the Ministers and the MLAs, it was very disappointing for us. The ministers, whom we elect, behaved in such rowdy manner. We came here to listen specially to the Governor's speech but the Ministers who opposed to his words, were literally beating the table and chairs, which is supposed to be against the law and order," Ashutosh Kumar Singh, a student said.
The Governor, while addressing the session, highlighted the achievements of the State Government that irked the Opposition legislators. (ANI)
