Will sue 'pink chaddi' campaigners: Muthalik

Mangalore, Feb 22: Sri Ram Sena leader Pramod Muthalik said on Saturday, Feb 21 said that he will sue the 'pink chaddi' campaigners soon. In retaliation to his plan to disrupt 'Valentine's Day', a group of people adopted a novel way of protest by sending him cartons of 'pink chaddies' to show their annoyance.

Muthalik received about 1,500 undergarments altogether of the eve of Valentine's Day. He said that the action of protesters were 'perverted act' and a group of 25 women advocates are formed to file a defamation suit against the senders of the 'parcel'.

Muthalik and his Sri Ram Sena came to limelight for attacking women in a pub in Mangalore on Jan 24. The assault on women stirred nationwide protest against the Sena. Muthalik said that his men will not take law in hands and will protest peacefully against 'pub culture' and will write to government to take action against illegal pubs.

After the Mangalore pub attacks and plans to disrupt Valentine's Day, now Muthalik and his Sena re targetting Datta Peeta in Babudanagiri shrine in Chikmagalur district where Hindus and Muslims worship.
