Suicide bomber kills atleast 10 in Pakistan

Islamabad, Feb 20: In a suicide attack, atleast 10 people are killed and several others injured in Pakistan on Friday, Feb 20. The blast occurred near imam bargah Kotli Imam Hussain in the northwestern city of Dera Ismail Khan during the funeral prayer of a Shi'ite Muslim Sher Zaman, who was shot dead in a target killing incident on Thursday, Feb 19.

Several of the injured were in a critical condition and an emergency was declared in the hospitals of the city, that has a history of sectarian violence. Officials said it was believed that the attack was the outcome of sectarian rivalries. The injured were shifted to district headquarter hospital.
