James Bond's Aston Martin voted Best Screen Car
London, Feb 20 (ANI): James Bond's Aston Martin DB5 has been named the Best Screen Car in a new poll of film fans.
The car that featured in the 1964 blockbuster 'Goldfinger' received more than one in four votes, reports the Scotsman.
Ford Mustang driven by Steve McQueen in the 1968 hit 'Bullitt' landed the second spot.
Creators of the latest James Bond flick blew two million pounds after smashing 12 new Aston Martins during the filming of 'Quantum Of Solace'.
The British luxury performance cars, which were donated for the Bond movie for the purpose of advertisements, were used to depict real-life crash scenes for the movie and are now beyond any use - even for spares.
The DBS supercars that were thrown at mountains, riddled with bullets, and even ending up in Lake Garda were destroyed during the filming of 'Quantum Of Solace', starring Daniel Craig as the 007 agent. (ANI)
