US must minimize interruption into Pakistan affairs: US scholar
Karachi, Feb. 19(ANI): US scholar Dr. Stephen Orgend urged US President Obama administration to review US foreign policy as he termed "Drone Strikes" on Pakistan soil will not serve any good to United States' efforts to win war on terror.
Responding to questions posed by the participants at the conference on the topic of "US ties with Islamic world" here, he said, US must minimize interruption into Pakistan affairs in order to let Pakistan resolve its problems within its state.
US scholar, while talking on the Obama's ties with Islamic world, underlined that Obama belongs to a Muslim family as his ancestors were Muslims therefore he must look into the matters of Muslim world with soft heart. However he maintained, Obama does not possess the magic stick so changes cannot be brought overnight, The News reported.
To a question Dr. Stephen said, Obama must be watchful of Muslims' self-respect therefore only financial aide could not be result-oriented.(ANI)
